Virginia Jean Pierre

Virginia Jean Pierre of Estate Whim transitioned into eternal peace on July 25.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Gilbert “Hubert” McTieus and Josephine “Maffin” Randolph; spouse, Johnson “Michael” Jean Pierre; brothers: George “Boots” Randolph and Francois “Bance” Marcellin.

Family members left to mourn her passing are sons: Marcus “Akram” Jn-Pierre, Sylvester “Stro” Randolph and Romanus “Mano” Randolph; daughters: Eutencia “Tisha” Jn-Pierre, Melinda “Lindy” Jn-Pierre, Vernita “Judy” Jn-Pierre, Tracelyn Randolph and Merici Randolph; and grandchildren: Nella “E-Vee” Doxon, Mekeige Dominique, Shaniqua Jn-Pierre, Nia Jn-Pierre, Teanna Gilbert, Keenan Randolph,  Isaiah Randolph, Kitanya Alexis, Sarima Randolph, Rennyia Alexis, D’sean Randolph, and Romanus Simeon Randolph.

Other mourners are adopted grandchild/grand-niece, Ashanty Mitchell; great-grandchild, Christopher Doxon; brothers: Edgar Wilton, Victor Randolph, Joseph Randolph, Gregory Wilton, Bernard Joseph, Hector Wilton. Oliver Alexander and Andrew Wilton; sisters: Marie Marcellin, Paulina Willie, Petrona St. Clair, Cynthia Poleon, May Randolph, Marie Matty, Madeline Alexander, Agatha Charles, Veronique Joseph, Eulah Alexander and Patricia Wilton; and aunt, Marie “Euralie” Promesse.

Other mourners are nephews: Peter Marcellin, Alvin Randolph, John Keith Randolph, Marinus Randolph, Serry Randolph, Larry Randolph, Irvin Marcellin, Jermal Randolph, Vickson Randolph, Vaughn Randolph, Kimani Randolph, Maylane Randolph, Vernon Randolph, Cassius Randolph, Brian Randolph, Robert Randolph, Kevin Randolph, Lucas Jacob, and other nephews too numerous to mention.

Other mourners are nieces: Cheryl Willie (also goddaughter), Joan Jean Baptiste, Verline Constable, Ursline Cox, Unita Thomas, Neoshia Poleon, Theresa St. Clair, Claudia Samuel, Lucia Constable, Patricia Randolph, Luvina Martyr, Lucianna Constable and other nieces too numerous to mention; as well as many grand nieces and grand nephews too numerous to mention.

Other survivors are cousins: Vercil Emmanuel and family, Calixta Braville, John Randolph, Theresa Braville, Bertha Braville, Anita  Jn-Charles, Catherine Randolph, Elizabeth Biscette, Joseph Doyle, Joseph Randolph, Agatha Randolph, Helen Augustin Jn Charles, the family of Irene Camille (deceased), the family of Johannes Randolph and other cousins too numerous to mention. daughters-in-law: Celia Jn-Pierre, Stephany Randolph and AnneMarie Randolph; brothers-in-law: Marcelline Tailiam, Remy St. Clair, Patrick Willie and Pierre Poleon; and sisters-in-law: Maria Randolph and Alice Joseph.

And other survivors include godmother, Sylvestina Lelite; godson, Lucas Constable; close friends:  Monica Andrew, Dawn Bruce, Audrey Johnson, Jeanette Degarnes, Symonia Roserie, Sylvia, Eneed, Janel Poleon, Ms. Zita, Ti Zita, Dudley Cox, Berthillia Gilbert-Felicien, Ms. Tarn-Tarn, Antoinette, Mary Wilton, Madeline Biscette, Gearfar Harlow, Pricillia Verneige, Prisca Charles, Rosalia Sackey, Therese Descartes, Kenwin Desroses, Anita Nibbs, Leanna Gilbert and family, Matina Alphonse and family, and Ms. Olive James; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

There will be a viewing from 3-5 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 29, at the James Memorial Funeral Home.

The second viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 30, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
