District Court of the Virgin Islands Recalls US Retired Magistrate Judge Ruth Miller

On behalf of the District Court of the Virgin Islands, Chief Judge Robert A. Molloy is pleased to announce the recall of the Honorable Ruth Miller, retired United States magistrate judge, for the District Court of the Virgin Islands, effective Aug. 27 in the division of St. Thomas/St. John.

The magistrate judge is authorized to perform the powers and duties of the office of magistrate judge as provided by the district court.

Judge Miller was appointed as magistrate judge for the Division of St. Thomas/St. John on April 26, 2010, and retired on July 29, 2024. During her 14-year tenure with the district court, Judge Miller provided exemplary service handling a wide range of pretrial matters in both civil and criminal cases.
