All judicial branch facilities shall be open to judicial officers, court staff, attorneys, litigants and members of the public for the purpose of conducting official business, and all judicial branch services shall be made available to the public in-person.

Police are investigating the apparent drowning of a 77-year-old Chicago man on Tuesday at Hawsknest Beach on St. John.

Darius George Jr., a 23-year-old resident of Mon Bijou on St. Croix, was arrested at about 11:46 a.m. Friday. According to the V.I. Police Department, George was charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm.

At about 12:56 p.m. on June 25 officers of the VIPD Criminal Investigation and Special Operations Bureau arrested 26-year-old Charles Frazer Jr. of Campo Rico, and at approximately 4:51 p.m., arrested Ian Benjamin Jr., age 19 of Queen Street, Frederiksted.

Las Vegas, Nevada, resident Michael Kelly pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court to trafficking firearms in interstate and foreign commerce, U.S. Attorney Gretchen C.F. Shappert announced Tuesday.

King Bob Leonard, 28, of St. Thomas, was sentenced Thursday to 37 months in prison for conspiracy to distribute cocaine, U.S. Attorney Gretchen C.F. Shappert for the District of the Virgin Islands announced.
