Division of Personnel Requires Employees/ Retirees to Update Contact Information

The Division of Personnel is urging all active employees and all retirees (who are the primary plan member and who maintain health insurance with the Government of the Virgin Islands) to provide or update their email and mailing address and mobile telephone number with the Group Health Insurance Unit.

Director Dayna Clendinen said, “COVID-19 has drastically changed the way the Group Health Insurance Unit is able to services its members. The Division needs its members to update their contact info in order to receive essential information and updates, to include the upcoming 2020 Open Enrollment Period and the distribution of new medical insurance cards.”

To do so, active members should login to the employee insurance portal, BenTek, at https://www.mybentek.com/gvi/  to verify their address in the system. Contact a Human Resources officer to make any changes.

Retirees need to visit the Division’s website: www.dopusvi.org, then download, complete and submit the Health Insurance Change of Address Form. Or they can contact the Group Health Insurance Unit to verify and make any necessary changes.
