DLCA Releases Rack Rates and Fuel Price Survey for Dec. 14-16

The Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs (DLCA) notifies the public of the latest rack rate prices issued by Gulf Oil at Lime Tree Bay Terminal effective Dec. 14 – 16. Rack rate prices have increased.

The new rack prices with the .14/gallon tax are $1.9000 regular, which shows an increase of $0.05. Premium is at $1.9400, an increase of $0.05, and diesel (ULSD) is at $1.9100 for an increase of $0.04. Additionally, the DLCA territory-wide fuel price survey was conducted on Monday, Dec. 14, on St. Croix, St. Thomas and St. John. Fuel surveys are included for comparative viewing and transparency.

On St. Croix, the lowest prices for self-service regular were found at Freedom City Service Station LLC for $2.579 per gallon and Ziggy’s Island Market LLC at $2.599 per gallon. The lowest prices for self-service premium fuel were found at Ziggy’s Island Market LLC for $2.699 per gallon and Super Tank Service Station at $2.759 per gallon. The lowest price for diesel was $2.570 per gallon at Super Tank Service Station.

On St. Thomas, the lowest prices for self-service regular fuel were found at 1st Stop, 1st Stop Frydenjoj, Gas Works, Ali Baba, Petrus Polyberg, Race Track and Puma Bovoni at $2.899 per gallon.  1st Stop, 1st Stop Frydenjoj, Gas Works, Ali Baba, Race Track and Puma Bovoni have the lowest price for self-service premium at $3.399 per gallon. 1st Stop and 1st Stop Frydenhoj have the lowest price for diesel at $3.299 per gallon.

On St. John, the lowest self-service prices were found at Racetrack at $3.29 per gallon for regular and $3.76 per gallon for premium.  E-C Gas Station came in second with the lowest for self-service at $3.34 per gallon for regular and $3.46 per gallon for premium. The lowest price for diesel was found at RaceTrack for $3.76 per gallon.
