The Department of Planning and Natural Resources will hold annual commercial fisher registration territory-wide from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., July 13 – July 17, according to Commissioner Jean-Pierre L. Oriol.
The St. Thomas-St. John commercial fisher registration will be held at the lower level auditorium of the Charles W. Turnbull Library, located just past Plaza Extra supermarket.
The St. Croix commercial fisher registration will be held at the Anna’s Hope Division of Environmental Enforcement offices.
All commercial fishers are strongly encouraged to register during this period in their respective districts. All recommendations of the Virgin Islands Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control will be followed. Please bring water as fishers will be seated outdoors in the shade while waiting. Masks will be required for service.
