Sept. 8: Still Standing – A Benefit for LCCN

Join us in the Courtyard on Saturday September 8th to celebrate and reflect on the past year of challenges, accomplishments and gatherings of our resilient community. In honor of the one-year anniversary of our first post-Irma meeting, we would like to honor those who made communications possible in the days following the storm by donating proceeds from this event to the Love City Community Network.

Island Girl Music’s Erin Hart will open the event at 6:30, followed by brief speeches from Glenn Speer of Mongoose Junction, Ryan West of Love City Strong, representatives of LCCN and DJ Ahladis of North Shore Deli. These will be followed, in tradition, with a prayer and moment of silence and then…..we dance!

DJ Adonis is bringing the jams and St. John Brewers the beer and the bombs. St. John Scoops will be serving ice cream and North Shore Deli will be hosting a bar with $5 drink specials all night and providing side dishes for Tommy’s BBQ. $20 gets you BBQ of your choice and two sides. WEAR YOUR VI/STJ SHWAG for a group photo in the courtyard before the sun goes down!!!
