Joseph Hannibal Kline Jr. transitioned into eternal life on Dec. 19. Joe was the oldest son of Rosa Bell and Joseph H. Kline Sr. and was born in Vicksburg, MS on Dec. 11, 1933. He was 91 years old.

He spent time in Chicago before leaving for Alaska where he worked on a pipeline. After a few years he moved to St. Thomas where he was co-owner of Majestic Construction. He married Karen and had four kids. Later he re-married and had two sons. The family of four spent several years living in Mississippi before returning to St. Thomas. Many years later he married Agnes and eventually retired.
Joseph leaves behind eight children: daughter Vanessa Boykin (husband Terry, children Brandon M Boykin and Errin Harris), daughter Estrella Willis, daughter Kimberly Kline Parris (husband Deverson Parris, children Jerome Jones, Deverson Parris Jr, Karisma Parris), son Joseph H. Kline III (wife Annie, children Joseph H Kline IV, Joshua H Kline), daughter Koralee Nisbett (husband Morvil Nisbett, children Jason Kline, his wife Cherecia, children Jasmine, Jayden), son Brian (wife Lynn, children Derek and Samantha) and son Jeffrey Kline. Sisters Dorothy Ruth Kittles, Katherine Nadine Kline and Frankie Rose Desmangles and many nieces and nephews and more than a hundred first cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Charles, Bradley and Leo and his sister Daisy.
A service will be held at Faith Christian Fellowship Church Alive in Christ 394B Anna’s Retreat Charlotte Amalie St Thomas USVI on Monday Dec. 30 at 10 am.
