Jeremy King found an unexpected guest on his deck when he returned to his Moorehead Point home last week.
“I got home around noon to find a baby parrot on my porch,” he said. “He hung out with me for about 30 minutes. We sat in the hammock and he posed for several photos.”
“I actually hand fed him some cat food, since I didn’t have any parrot food on hand,” he said.
While King has seen adult parrots fly by, this was his first visit from a juvenile parrot. King named the little beauty Louis, but hadn’t seen him again as of press time.
“I’ve been anticipating a return visit, but he’s been a no-show,” said King.
