Kimrah Cherisse Connor Dies

Kimrah Cherisse Connor died on June 12, in Birmingham, Ala.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sheila Mitcham Johnson; sister, Cheryl Mitcham-Kuntz; brothers: Kennedy Mitcham: Errol and Victor Milliner: stepfather, Lennox Johnson; and uncles: Urban and Kensworth Hazell.

Kimrah is survived by her father, Caryl Connor; stepmother, Lucille Richardson-Connor; brothers: Clyde and Eric Milliner, Kerylv Sr., Kenn Sr., Darren, Kyran, Karym, Karyl and Kysle Connor; and stepsister, Onika Fraser; aunts: Agnes Thomas, Melda Francis, Avril Williams, Petronella and Ursula Thomas, Icilma Hazell, Rhonda Connor, Jackie, Ettie and Caren Sturge; and uncles: Gabriel Thomas, Darwin Hazell and Pastor Roderick Webster.

She is also survived by nieces: Lovia Milliner-McCray, April, LaRashana, LaRakishma, LaRaTisha, LaRakesha, Lukrisha, Madison, Shamika and Shaniqua Milliner, Talisha Joseph, Jewell Henley, Victoria Johnson and Kimmoy Matthews, Keryline, Khennaiya, Kayla, Kiara, Kai’ri, Kyanna, Skylar, Gabriella, Kendyl, Karynn, Kaylani, Ka’Myah and Khloe Connor.

She is also survived by nephews: Clyde Jr., Leshorn, Leshoi, Victor Jr., Shane, Keshorn, Nathaniel, Shaquani and Malachi Miliner, Mike and Wakahn Heyliger, Nikkai and Raysean Mitcham, Kennon Matthews, Richard Stuckey, Keryl Jr., Kyzaiah, Kenn Jr., Demarley, Kyle, Keshaun, Kobi, Khalen, Kheann, Declin, Justus, Kamron, Karym, Jr., Kahmarri, Kairo, Kaylen and Keeon Connor;

Other survivors include cousins: the children of George Thomas, children of Alvin Thomas, children of Rosalind Richardson, children of Melda Francis, children of Agnes Thomas, children of Darwin Hazell, children of Rhonda Connor, children of Jackie Sturge, children of Ettie Sturge, children of Caren Sturge, children of Urban Hazell and children of Kenworth Hazell; special cousins: Albert Humphrey Lake, Rose Lake, Rozel Thomas-Debose, Naomi Connor, Angela Lloyd-Campbell and Alexis Thomas; godfather, Arnold Richardson; special friends: Andrea (Sewer) Porter, Tanesha Joseph, Megan Morales; and a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.

A first viewing will be held from 5 -7 p.m., Monday, July 15.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 16, at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. Tributes will be from 9-10  a.m. with services to follow immediately after. Arrangements are entrusted to Turnbull’s Funeral Home and Crematory Services.
