New Record Set at 15th Annual 8 Tuff Miles

 

Ruth Ann David was the first female finisher.

 

A total of 881 runners and walkers crossed the finish line at the end of the 15th Annual 8 Tuff Miles road race on Saturday, February 26.

Chris Reis of Cincinnati, Ohio, set a new record finishing the race in 46 minutes flat. Court Lilly, also of Cincinnati, came in second with a time of 49 minutes and 45 seconds. Six-time winner Jeremy Zuber of St. John came in third this year with a time of 50 minutes and 48 seconds.

Ruth Ann David of St. Thomas was the top female finisher with a time of 57 minutes and 39 seconds. Dusich Letitia of Colorado Springs, Colorado came in second for women with a time of one hour, two minutes and 11 seconds. The third place female finisher was  Delene Jewett of Seattle, Washington with a time of 1 hour, three minutes and 27 seconds.
