Rhyme & Lime STJ and The Gri Gri Project present a special edition of Rhyme & Lime Poetry Night on Saturday, April 26 at Bajo El Sol Gallery in Mongoose Junction.

Kicking off at 7 p.m., this lively community event will celebrate National Poetry Month with powerful spoken word performances, and soulful live music from the house band From Broheem With Love.
National Poetry Month, founded in 1996 by the Academy of American Poets, is the largest literary celebration in the world. The initiative encourages people of all ages to embrace poetry—at home, in schools, in libraries, and in public spaces. Join the global conversation online with the hashtag #NationalPoetryMonth and explore free resources all April long via the Academy’s social platforms.
For this edition of Rhyme and Lime, works inspired by celebrations, resistance, and in honor of poets are encouraged. For more information, please email the host Raven Phillips at ravenphillipslove@gmail.com, or call Bajo el Sol Gallery at 340-693-7070.
