St. Croix District Democrats to Hold Caucus to Choose Delegates, Presidential Nominee

St. Croix registered Democrats will elect delegates to attend the 2020 Democratic National Convention and choose a Democratic presidential nominee with a presidential preference poll on Caucus Day between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Saturday, June 6.

There will be two days of early voting:

Thursday, June 4, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Friday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

All voting will take place at the former headquarters of the Bryan/Roach campaign located in the La Reine Shopping Center.

To participate, present a voter registration card or a valid government issued identification card.

This year, St. Croix Democrats will select two men and two women to represent them.

Robelto “Robert” Rios

Ronald Russell

Females:

Florine Audain Hassell

Sonia Boyce

Democrats will choose between former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Bernie Sanders to be the party’s nominee for the presidency.

Voters are encouraged to attend and participate in the process. This is the closest opportunity for Virgin Islanders to vote for the president of the United States.
