The St. Thomas-St. John Chamber of Commerce announces that Miracle on  Miracle on Main Street and the Lighted Boat Parade 2023 will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday, Dec. 15. For this premier holiday event in the Downtown Historic District, the public can expect the streets to be lit and beautiful.

Downtown stores will offer many specials, so plan to come out and get holiday shopping done while stopping in a local restaurant for lunch, dinner or refreshments. The Emancipation Garden will be filled with vendors offering local food and drinks, plus music. Local musicians and entertainers will be playing throughout the downtown from 5:30-10 p.m. There will be an area for non-profits and community organizations to have a table for fundraising and promotions.

The Chamber of Commerce plans to host the Lighted Boat Parade and is looking for help. If anyone would like to participate in the parade, please give a call. Join in the fun by decorating your boat, and come on out. Who knows, maybe you will win one of the cash prizes.

The Lighted Boat Parade normally departs Crown Bay Marina at 6:30 p.m. and approaches the waterfront around 7 p.m.

Be sure to reference the Miracle on Main Street 2023 event map appearing in the Virgin Islands Daily News on Thursday, Dec. 14, and Friday, Dec. 15.

Miracle on Main Street is possible because of the generosity of sponsors in the community. If your business is interested in participating as an event sponsor, a contribution can support activities like children’s entertainment and the Lighted Boat Parade.

Please call Leslie Fisher at 514-5963 for more information about event participation or sponsorships.
