T4 Conference Online to Explore ‘New Normal’ for Education Post COVID-19

Junior Achievement USVI will host T4, an online conference that will explore what the “new normal” could mean for teachers.  On Saturday, May 30, the organization will partner with former Varkey Foundation CEO Vikas Pota to help answer what the new normal looks like.

No one can say for sure how long the pandemic crisis will last, or what awaits people on the other side, but it is known that education communities worldwide will not be returning to the “old” normal.

Led by teachers, for teachers, the T4 Conference aims to bring together teachers from around the world for a unique virtual event to share their stories and experiences. The agenda will focus primarily on four areas.

  • Teacher wellbeing
  • Teacher leadership
  • Teacher technology
  • Teacher collaboration

Executive Director Dr. Wayne Archibald said, “The main purpose is to get everyone familiarized with several learning platforms we are using, as well as to test the system for ourselves. We hope to get all teachers in the USVI fully engaged and trained in online learning platform technologies.”

The free, global online conference places the teacher at the heart of the conversation – and the solutions.

This is a chance to join thousands of teachers in an online global education event and shape the future in education post COVID-19. Register today at http://www.jausvi.org/t4-registration

From 2-3 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, there will also be a preview event for all those registered. Once teachers register, more information will be emailed to them.
