University of the Virgin Islands President David Hall will host a Virtual Town Hall Meeting at 10 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, June 30, via Zoom.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the university’s fall 2020 semester plans and operations in light of the continued challenges and evolving circumstances with COVID-19. A guiding document for the fall has been developed by the assigned task force, which was further vetted by the President’s Cabinet and recently approved by the UVI Board of Trustees, taking into consideration feedback and recommended changes from the board and shared governance constituency groups, including faculty, staff council and student government association leaders.
The town hall meeting will provide an opportunity after the presentation to address any questions or concerns. People are encouraged to email beforehand their questions and concerns to [email protected] by Monday, June 29, so that the information can be compiled and addressed during the meeting.
