VA Says COVID-19 Booster Shots Available for Veterans

The VA Caribbean Healthcare System in collaboration with the V.I. Office of Veterans Affairs will be conducting vaccination clinics for veterans in the Virgin Islands. These vaccination clinics will be for the administering of COVID-19 booster shots.

Vaccination clinics will take place as follows:St. Croix at the American Legion Post No. 85, Christiansted — Nov. 30 and Dec. 1

St. Thomas at the American Legion Post No. 90, Crown Bay — Dec. 7 and 8

While walk-ins are welcomed, veterans are encouraged to contact the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in their island district to make an appointment.

If any veteran misses this opportunity in either district, please call the Virgin Islands Department of Health at 712-6299 on St. Croix, or call 776-1519 on St. Thomas or St. John for additional opportunities.

In the interim, continue being as safe as possible by wearing a mask when necessary, frequently washing hands, physical distancing and limiting unnecessary social activity.
