VIPD Arrest Second Suspect, 17-year-old Minor, in Connection with Tiny Jah Jarvis Murder

 

V.I. Police Department’s Major Crime detectives on St. Thomas arrested a second suspect in connection with the murder of Tiny Jah Jarvis who was killed on St. John following an argument with Ralph Titre.

The second suspect is a minor who police charged with possession of the alleged murder weapon.
The 17-year-old minor was arrested on Thursday, September 20, and charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm; misprision of a felony; and accessory after the fact in connection with Jarvis’ murder. 

The minor was placed in Protective Custody pending further actions before the Superior Court’s Family Division. 
VIPD officers said on August 17, at about 10:30 p.m., Tiny Jah Jarvis was shot and killed in the area of Estate Bellevue after an argument with Ralph Titre. 

On August 18, Ralph Titre was arrested and charged with Jarvis’ murder. During the ongoing investigation Major Crime Detectives were led to the 17-year-old minor who was believed to be in possession of the alleged murder weapon. 

A weapon fitting the description of the one alleged to have been used in the murder was recovered and turned over to the VIPD Forensics Unit for ballistic comparison.
