UPDATED WAPA ALERT: Electrical Service Rotation Ends on St. Thomas

WAPA announced that rotating electrical outages have ended as all feeders have been restored.

June 12, 7.49 p.m.

Outage rotations continue as line department crews work tirelessly to safely repair damaged underground lines. The following customers are currently experiencing a disruption in service: 8B, portions of 7A, 9E, and a portion of 9B.

Customers on feeders not listed above may experience a service interruption. This is the result of a need to shift load between feeders and prevent an overload to the electrical system. Every effort is being made to keep as many customers as possible energized while working to fully restore service to all customers as soon as possible WAPA thanks the community for its understanding and patience.

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority advise the following electrical service rotation will be in effect until further notice: 5:00-7:00 pm Feeder #7E, a portion of 7C from Cassi Hill to Sapphire, a portion of 7B from Masa to Mahogany Run and, a portion of Feeder 9B. From 7:00 – 9:00 pm, Feeder 39E and a portion of feeder 10B (once graduation is over). Finally, 9:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Feeder #9C will be affected.
