The Virgin Islands Department of Education, State Office of Special Nutrition Programs, has announced the availability of the 2020 Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) Sponsor Application.
Public or non-profit organizations in both districts interested in obtaining an application packet or that require additional information, may contact the State Office of Special Nutrition Programs at 774-0100, ext. 2817.
The application submission deadline is Friday, April 24.
School-aged children 2-18 may receive free meals through the program. Persons 19 and older with a mental or physical disability (as determined by a state or local educational agency) and who participate in a public or private non-profit school program throughout the school year, which is established for the mentally or physically disabled, are also eligible to receive meals.
