420MEDIA to Hold First Cannabis, Hemp Conferences in USVI

Cannabis, sativa

For the first time, 420MEDIA and NT Media Productions, both women-owned and women-led production and marketing companies, are bringing together American and international cannabis professionals (speakers and exhibitors) for a conference on St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI).

CANNAVAL is the first comprehensive conference created to educate and empower the people of the USVI with expert knowledge and guidance as they enter into the newly legal medical cannabis market. 420MEDIA, in alliance with St. Croix- based company NT Media Productions, will host the inaugural conferences, after events and local excursions on St. Croix in July of 2019 and on St. Thomas (TBA).

The event’s keynote speaker will be Positive T.A. Nelson, a former seven-term senator who pushed for medical cannabis legislation and is now the commissioner nominee for the V.I. Department of Agriculture. “As the Virgin Islands prepares for the roll-out of MMJ, it is of paramount importance that we educate our healthcare practitioners, patients, policymakers, business prospects and the people,” Nelson said. “Legalization is an absolute socio-economic issue.”
