Adolphe Warner, affectionately known as “Tata,” “Mr. Warner” or “Brother Warner,” died on Sept. 10 on St. Thomas, USVI.

He is survived by his children: Adrienne Warner-Joseph and Rodolphe Warner; grandchildren: Alicia Joseph-Eldridge, Akyo Joseph, Andre Warner and Devon Warner; great-grandchildren: Jonathan Eldridge II, Andrew Eldridge, Michael Eldridge, Aleya Joseph, Anesia Warner; nephew, Roy Warner, Linford Warner, James Warner, Julian Warner and Jerome Warner; nieces: Carmen Kingsale-Hodge, Jacqueline Warner-Chirlias, Adele Warner Smith and Jeanne Warner-Pruitt; sisters-in-law: Berthe Warner and Misjoe Todman-Chalwell; brother-in-law Ashton Carty; the Virgin Islands Taxi Association; and a host of other family and friends too numerous to mention.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the first viewing from 4-6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 13, at Blyden Memorial Chapel.

The second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by funeral services at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 14, at Mt. Zion Church of God, Anna’s Retreat. Burial will follow at Western Cemetery No. 3.
