Adopt a Special Pet and Provide a Fur-ever Home!

The Source wants to help reduce the overpopulation of unwanted pets in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Every week we will feature a dog or cat from the hardworking rescue organizations and hope someone will find their new fur-ever friend on this site.

(All animals are healthy, have been vaccinated, and are neutered.)

Boondi (Photo by St. Croix Animal Welfare Center)

Two-year-old Boondi is described as a “velcro pup” because he wants to be petted and loved all day long. He’s a classic Crucian short-leg who desperately wants to be a lap dog. He’ll jump into laps to bring a ball he hopes will be tossed so he can play fetch. He’s wonderful with other dogs and great with children. Adopt sweet Boondi at Pet Place in La Grande Princess.

These pretty, four-year-old sisters get along with other dogs and walk well on a leash. They can be cat-selective, so proper introductions and caution are needed. If you are looking for two pups that already get along and are looking for a fur-ever home, stop by the Humane Society of St. Thomas or call 340-775-0599. Check out humanesocietystthomas.org for other pets available for adoption.
