Pistarckle Theater kicked-off its 2019-2020 season this past weekend with the Tony Award Winning Musical “Ain’t Misbehavin’,” the fabulous Fats Waller musical review. The production stars: Shantelle Eddy, Jada M. Lark, Sabrina Lettsome, Jervina Dowers and Alwyn Thomas.
Set in an uptown Harlem Jazz Club during an era of growing creativity, cultural awareness and piano players introducing high society to a new sound called “swing,” “Ain’t Misbehavin’” encompasses all of the fun and excitement of partying ‘til the sun comes up through toe-tapping, finger snapping, boisterous, sexy and hilarious songs.

Directed by Frank Bartolucci, choreographed by Mary Capellas and with a seven-piece swing band directed by Robert Leonard, “Ain’t Misbehavin’” continues its run at 8 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26. There will be two matinee performances at 2 p.m., Sundays, Oct. 13 and 20.
