This weekend’s upcoming Bernard “Kubu” Joseph Thanksgiving Tournament will be the kickoff of the tournament in the 9-12 Division at 5:15 p.m., Friday Dec. 6. The tournament is hosted by Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation with the assistance of the Department of Education. Action will continue throughout the weekend until Sunday, Dec. 8, when there will be three champions crowned. It will be played in the Audie B. Henneman Gymnasium, Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School.
A small entrance fee of $1 will be collected at the door for those not participating in the tournament. Bertha C Boschulte School administration will collect the entrance fee. Also, food and drinks will be on sale with all proceeds going to the BCB School.
