Board of Elections to Conduct Tests of Voting Machines on July 13

The Virgin Islands Board of Elections will be conducting testing of the voting machines on Wednesday, July 13. The testing prepares the DS200 Voting Machine and the ExpressVote Machine that will be utilized during “Early Voting” on Monday, July 18, at the following locations:

  • District of St. Croix – Elections Office-Sunny Isle Shopping Center Unit 26
  • District of St Croix — St. Joseph’s Church Hospitality Lounge
  • District of St. Thomas/St. John — Charlotte Amalie High School Gymnasium
  • District of St. Thomas/St. John — Tutu Park Mall (former Scotia Bank location)
  • District of St. Thomas/St. John — Julius Sprauve Elementary School Cafeteria (St. John)

Early Voting is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 18, and to conclude on Friday, Aug. 1.

Voting hours will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. On St. John, Early Voting hours will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Members of the public and media are invited to witness the process. Social distancing will be followed. Face masks or coverings must be worn. Cover the nose and mouth; remember to sanitize and keep hands clean.
