Updated: Three Armed Men Rob St. John Restaurant

While the Source hasn’t received any new details about the circumstances, community members have indicated that the burglary occurred at a restaurant in Coral Bay, impacting the owners. No customers were involved.

Three armed men invaded a Coral Bay, St. John restaurant after closing hours and demanded money from the owners, who handed over what they had and later reported the incident to Police.

The still unidentified robbers left the area and fled in an unknown direction.

The Source has been unable to obtain details about the restaurant, time of incident or circumstances from the V.I. Police Department, though information provided by VIPD’s spokesman Glenn Dratte indicated the men were not masked, there was no surveillance and that the department is not investigating the case in relation to any other incidents on St. John.

The Source has also been unable to confirm that the incident was among others to occur Friday, whether later or earlier.
