Byron Thomas Dies

Byron Thomas died on Feb. 4.

A native of Long Look, Tortola, and a longtime resident of St. Thomas, he is survived by five brothers: Elminio, Wilburn, Kenny, Unell and Aslyn Thomas of St. Thomas; two sisters: Geagar Fraser and Gwenda McIlwain; and uncles: Terrance and Felix Thomas of Sea Cows Bay, Tortola.

He ia also survived by sisters-in-law: Sylvina Thomas, Patricia Thomas and Rose Thomas; brother-in-law, Roosevelt Fraser; nieces: Temesha Fraser, Orealia Thomas, Tyresha Thomas and Christina McIlwain; nephews: Michael, Kenroy, Leroy Fraser, Kenny Thomas Jr., Anthony McIlwain Tyrone Thomas and Teshawn Thomas; and stepson-in-law Kelvin Lloyd.

A viewing will be held at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at noon, Friday, Feb. 23, at Blyden Memorial Chapel. Interment will be private.

Arrangements are by Turnbull’s Funeral Home and Crematory Services.
