Lutheran Social Services of the Virgin Islands (LSSVI) continued its longstanding partnership with Cane Bay Partners this December as the firm carried out its annual tradition of donating furniture to local individuals and families in need.
This initiative, led by Cane Bay Partners founders Kirk and Leah Chewning, supports residents at Flambouyant Gardens, Bougainvillea Gardens, Danish Gardens, Genip Gardens, and families in the Early Head Start program, according to the press release.
The donations included essential items such as recliners, sofas, computer desks, beds, and refrigerators, providing comfort and functionality for recipients. Many residents expressed their gratitude, with some enjoying their new furniture immediately, creating a holiday season filled with smiles and appreciation, the press release stated.
“We are incredibly grateful for Cane Bay Partners’ continued generosity and support,” said LSSVI CEO Junia John-Straker. “Their annual furniture donation not only helps our residents feel more at home, but it also fosters a sense of dignity and comfort, which is so vital to their overall well-being.
