Caneel Bay Resort Stars in TV and Web Campaigns

A Keil James Patrick crew enjoyed a week of sun and fun at Caneel Bay Resort and St. John, above, shooting their summer ad campagin.

Take one of the most beautiful beaches on St. John and add one of the most beautiful models from St.Thomas, and it adds up to one impressive Target commercial.

Hannah Davis, a 23-year-old former standout tennis and volleyball athlete from St. Thomas, has taken the modelling world by storm since making her debut in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue last year. She’s back again in this year’s SI Swimsuit Issue and has also appeared in campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Victoria’s Secret, American Eagle, Tommy Hilfiger and more.

This winter Davis and another model enjoyed four days filming with the Target crew on one of the seven stunning beaches on the Caneel Bay Resort property. The crew filmed on the alabaster sands of Scott Beach and enjoyed “all that Caneel Bay has to offer,” according to the luxury resort’s public relations firm Hawkins International PR.

The result is a gorgeous commercial and print ad campaign featuring the distinctive turquoise waters of St. John, which have lured many other national brands to Caneel Bay Resort.

Polo/Ralph Lauren, Eddie Bauer, Land’s End, J.Crew, Macy’s, and Sports Illustrated have all shot at Caneel Bay. Most recently clothing and jewelry brand Kiel James Patrick wrapped a shoot at the luxury resort last week and boasted about the warm sand and crystal-clear waters on the company’s blog.

“With New England still experiencing snow flurries and sub-freezing temperatures earlier this month, it felt more like the depths of winter than spring,” said the designer. “Luckily, we were able to travel to the picturesque Caneel Bay Resort on St. John and get some much needed vitamin D. As far as tropical getaways go, Caneel Bay was perfect. Warm sun, soft sand, crystal-clear water, and plenty of rum drinks, we couldn’t have had a better time at the resort.
