Carliani Amaya LaBeet, also known as “Cali,” of Eastern Suburb died on Saturday, April 15.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Rahiem LaBeet.

She is survived by her mother, D’Shawna Samuel-Biggs; fathers: Wayne Biggs Jr. (Pops) and Carl Landis LaBeet Jr.; strong male person in her life, Shawn M. Smith; grandparents: Ilda Luz Allen, Sandra Rogers and Melba C. Biggs; sisters: Ti-Shawna Smith and Jahmilia LaBeet; brothers: Jasiah LaBeet and Brandon Biggs; and nieces: Jahniya Reefer, Alshaday Reefer and Alani Bailey.

She is also survived by nephews: Quandell Milligan and Jamaud Allick; aunts: Diane Jack, Diana Jack, Debra Phillip, D’Anndra Samuel, Ashara Ritter-Encarnacion, Dana Biggs-Hopkins and Soria Samuel-Warner; uncles: Anthony Jack, Evaristo Ventura, Marc Biggs, Asher Ritter, Ronald Christopher and Aaron Hopkins; brothers-in-law: Jared Matthew and Balvin Bailey; and godbrother, Leyton Jacobs.

Other survivors include godsister, Layla Jacobs; cousins and other relatives: Jahvari Ventura, Janay Ventura, Jaiden Ventura, Nikoia Phillip, Kinoia Fredericksen, Kairi Lee Christopher, Selina Lawrence, Shantelle Alexander, Star Warner, Hana Catlett, Kamar Christopher, Kimoy Christopher, Kyle Chistopher, Peter Noel and Preston Noel; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Tributes will begin at 9:30 a.m. to be followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 28, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
