CBCC Bizarre Bazaar Draws Huge Crowd to Coral Bay

There was a huge crowd and a little bit of everything at the Pickles in Paradise for the Coral Bay Community Council’s second annual Coral Bay Bizarre Bazaar on Saturday, December 13.

CORAL BAY — From donkey rides to a brewing competition, there was a little bit of everything at Coral Bay Community Council’s second annual Bizarre Bazaar on Saturday afternoon, December 13.

The event drew a huge crowd to the Pickles in Paradise back yard where more than 50 vendors and artisans offered everything from hand-made pottery to raw honey.

The afternoon also featured a brewing competition with five local home brewers offering samples of nine different suds. Jeff McCrave of Drunk Bay Brewing won the competition with his impressive Rye IPA, a favorite among the judges and the crowd.

Dana Bartlet of Coral Bay Corral was popular all day with kids enjoying donkey rides. When Santa Claus rode out in one of her donkey carts, the Coral Bay Corral attraction was the most crowded at the bazaar.

The second annual Bizarre Bazaar also included live music by numerous artists, food cooked up by members of the Coral Bay Yacht Club and drinks.
