CMCArts to Exhibit Annual Virgin Islands/Puerto Rico Friendship Art Show

In response to limitations for gatherings due to COVID-19, The Caribbean Museum Center for the Arts Inc., in partnership with Wilfred Labiosa of Puerto Rico, is presenting CMCArts’ annual Virgin Islands Puerto Rico Exhibition in person and virtually.

Celebrating 56 years of friendship, this year’s exhibition is titled “Anacaonas de Borinquen.” It will honor Puerto Rican women and how artists depict and honor her.

This year there are no other events in conjunction with the exhibit due to gathering restrictions.

The exhibit will open at the museum and online at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1. The virtual tour will be on www.cmcarts.org. The museum is open to the public at 4 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.  Occupancy is restricted to no more than 10 persons in the museum at a time.  Facial coverings must always be worn.
