Community Event to Aim at Connecting Residents With Federal Agencies

Congresswoman Stacey E. Plaskett (USVI), ranking member on the Subcommittee on the Interior, Energy and Environment, released the following statement regarding the first One-Stop-Federal-Resource community event slated for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 25, at Tutu Park Mall on St. Thomas.

“The One Stop Federal Resource event will highlight a single point of access to the vast array of services available from our Congressional office and local federal partners. The event is a part of our ongoing community outreach project and an important priority for the people of the Virgin Islands.

“Our residents will have easy access to the services available from federal partners such as Immigration, Passport, Coast Guard, Customs and Border Protection, Legal Services of the Virgin Islands, Small Business Administration, U.S. Department of Agriculture, National Park Services, Community Development Block Grant, Housing Choice Voucher Program, Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority Disaster Recovery Program and other federal partner agencies.”
