Crime Stoppers Needs Your Help

March 5

At approximately 5:45 p.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center received reports of a possible kidnapping along Queen Mary Highway in the area of Royal Furniture, Peter’s Rest.

It was reported that a white or silver Toyota Tacoma quad cab abruptly maneuvered in front of a BMW SUV, where three masked individuals jumped out of the truck, dragged the two occupants out of the BMW and forced them into the truck and fled the area. Police officers canvassed the area and were able to locate the victims, who confirmed that they were, in fact, kidnapped by some individuals who dropped them off in the Half Penny area.

The victims were not able to identify the suspects, however stated there were possibly four suspects in the Tacoma truck.

March 10

At approximately 3:27 a.m., the Virgin Islands Police Department responded to Roy L. Schneider Medical Center in reference to a gunshot victim.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was at the establishment of Savanero Restaurant when an unknown male walked up to the victim and began to discharge a firearm directly at him before fleeing the area. As a result, the victim sustained several gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was transported and admitted to the Roy L. Schneider Regional Medical Center for treatment.
