Crime Stoppers USVI is asking the community to help the V.I. Police Department solve the following crimes:
Police on St. John are still seeking additional information on the murder of Juan Ayala, who was found dead from multiple gunshots on Monday, January 5, outside his home in Estate Pastory.
Police say there may have been two suspects. One suspect is described as a black male with braided hair. The police department is offering a $10,000 reward and witness protection for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
St. Croix
Police on St. Croix are looking for Hesket Ovaldo John in connection with a third degree assaut. John is a black male, 47 years old, 5’11” and weighs 260 pounds. He is known to frequent the Mon Bijou and Grove Places areas.
St. Thomas
Police on St. Thomas are looking for Steven Vassell in connection with an identify theft which occurred on or about November 4, 2008, at Caribbean Auto Mart. Vassell is a black male with a dark complexion, 5’8” and weighs 180 pounds. Vassell was born in Jamaica and lives in the Bovoni area of St. Thomas. He is known to operate a white four door Chevy Tracker, License plate #TDP-839.
Crime Stoppers is pleased to report that we received six new tips this week, which brings our total tips received to 26.

Tipsters will remain anonymous and do not have to testify in court to receive a reward. If the information provided leads to an arrest or the recovery of stolen property, the tipster will earn a cash reward of up to $2,500. Only anonymous callers to Crime Stoppers are eligible for these cash rewards.
