Crime Stoppers USVI Needs Your Help

Crime Stoppers is asking the community to help the VIPD solve the following crimes:

Police on St. John are seeking information on the person or persons who have been stealing dinghies from the Coral Bay area.


Police on St. Croix are asking for specific information on anyone who may be illegally cultivating or dealing in drugs, involved in gun trafficking, or buying or selling stolen property.


Police on St. Thomas are seeking information from anyone who may have been in the area of an attempted robbery that happened in Estate Neljteberg on Friday, February 20, at about 10:15 a.m.

Two masked gunmen attempted to stop an individual driving a vehicle and fired several shots in the direction of the car. One suspect is described as 5’4” to 5’5” with a medium build and the other is about 5’11” with a slim build. The suspects were wearing all black clothing with their faces covered.

Crime Stoppers is pleased to report we received four new tips this week, which brings our total tips received to 34.

“On behalf of the VIPD we offer our sincere thanks to all the tipsters who have taken the time to let us know what you know,” said Law Enforcement Coordinator, Lt. Thomas Hannah. “Be assured your tips are being investigated by VIPD and various Law Enforcement Agencies in the territory, and we will be informing you of the results of these investigations.”

Tipsters will remain anonymous and do not have to testify in court to receive a reward. If the information provided leads to an arrest or the recovery of stolen property, the tipster will earn a cash reward of up to $2,500. Only anonymous callers to Crime Stoppers are eligible for these cash rewards.
