Crime Stoppers USVI Needs Your Help In Solving Crimes

Crime Stoppers is asking the community’s help to solve the following crimes. Even the smallest bit of information may be just what law enforcement needs to solve these cases.
St. John

V.I. Police Department officials are requesting the community’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for a rash of burglaries of homes and villas across St. John. Items stolen included money, iPods, and laptop computers. The minimum reward for the arrest of a burglar suspect is $714.

Community members can submit tips to Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). The tips are completely anonymous, and the stateside operators are bilingual. Tipsters can also submit tips online at www.CrimeStoppersUSVI.org  or by texting “USVI” plus your message to CRIMES (274637).

If a tip leads to an arrest or the recovery of stolen property, illegal drugs, or weapons, the tipster receives a cash reward to be paid according to their instructions. Only anonymous callers to Crime Stoppers are eligible for these cash rewards.

Crime Stoppers is pleased to report that it is run entirely by volunteers and is financed by membership dues and sponsor contributions. To join in the fight against crime, please visit the website and become a dues-paying member.

Please note that our technology makes it virtually impossible for anyone to trace a tip back to a tipster.  To learn how it works, visit www.CrimeStoppersUSVI.org.  Also, anyone who knows an unsolved crime would like Crime Stoppers to feature, send an e-mail to CrimeStoppersVI@gmail.com.
