Crucian Lights and Sparkle on Deh Streets Mobile Lantern Motorcade Helps Kick off the Christmas Season

At 6 p.m. Saturday, the Crucian Cultural Group will present the third annual Christiansted Mobile Lantern Motorcade of creatively lighted entries. There are numerous vehicles expected to participate. Stanley and the Ten Sleepless Knights will provide live entertainment along the way.

According to Telsalda Josiah, CCG treasurer, “the motorcade route begins from the Melvin Evans highway intersection and Ricardo Richards Elementary School in the Barron Spot/Ginger Thomas Area. Moving onto the Queen Mary Highway, passing Strawberry, Sunny Isles, Sion Farm, Peter’s Rest, Majorette Headquarters up past Anna’s Hope, Beeston Hill, Golden Rock through Christiansted Town to Canegata Ball Park.”
