Deadline for Early Voting Is Friday, March 22

With just two more days of early voting left, Supervisor of Elections Caroline Fawkes is urging the public to take advantage of the final days. Early Voting for the 2019 Special Election will continue through Friday, March 22, at all Election Offices in both districts (St. Croix and St. Thomas-St. John). The hours for early voting are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The number of electors who have participated in Early Voting from Saturday, March 16, to date are: St. Thomas – 485, St. Croix – 596 and St. John – 70, for a total of 1,151 early voters. The 2019 Special Election will be held on Saturday, March 30. The goal of the Elections System is to ensure a fair, accessible and transparent election.
Based on the number of registered voters (51,741), 50 percent plus one equates to 25,872 registered voters.
