DeJongh Pays Respect to Late Career Ambassador Terence A. Todman

 

Governor John P. de Jongh, Jr. paid his respects to the late Career Ambassador Terence A. Todman today as the Virgin Islands native son’s body lay-in-repose at Government House on St. Thomas. Throughout the day, mourners filed past the flag-draped casket bearing the body of the retired U.S. Ambassador.

Todman, whose diplomatic career spanned more than four decades, died last week at the age of 88.

Funeral services are set for 11:30 am on Saturday at All Saints Cathedral on St. Thomas, tributes will begin at 10:30 am.

In Todman’s memory, flags on public buildings across the Virgin Islands are flying at half-staff until sunset Saturday.
