Due to the territory’s “Stay at Home” status, Attorney General Denise George has issued a reminder of measures put in place to safeguard the public and Department of Justice employees from potential exposure to COVID-19. The Paternity and Child Support Division (PCSD) continues to implement a response protocol to prevent the exponential spread of this novel virus.
Facilities of Paternity and Child Support remain closed to the public, including offices located on the 2nd floor of Nisky Shopping Center, St. Thomas, and 3018 Estate Orange Grove, St. Croix.
Services are provided via telephone, fax, mail and the internet. A drop box is available for money orders and check payments but no cash. “The Territorial Disbursement Unit and payment processing teams continue to ensure that payments are processed and disbursed timely,” said Director Joseph.
Customers with scheduled court hearings are contacted to discuss rescheduling options. Child Support hearings and pre-trial conferences have been suspended until further notice.

“We are closely monitoring these emails to provide you a response as soon as possible. This is a very uncertain time for everyone, but please be assured that the Paternity and Child Support Division continues to implement every possible option to ensure that the service we provide is not interrupted,” Director Joseph said.
