The Virgin Islands Department of Education has released its Graduation Calendar and announced that June 4 is the last day of school for the 2019-2020 school year for V.I. public school students.

Recent local legislation has modified the 2019-2020 V.I. public school calendar, allowing for schools to close in early June and reopen in mid-August, a standard practice at most schools on the U.S. mainland.

Visit www.vide.vi to view the newly revised 2019-2020 school calendar and the new 2020-2021 school calendar.

In addition to dates highlighted below, the attached 2019-2020 Graduation Calendar contains a complete listing of all public-school graduations, promotional exercises and awards ceremonies.
