The Public Works Department announced a traffic light outage at the intersection of Veterans Drive and Rue De Carnage (near the Altona Banco Popular).
Motorists are asked to traverse the area with extreme caution and utilize the rules of a four-way stop, which goes into play when traffic lights at an intersection are inoperable. In a four-way stop, all drivers must stop at the intersection and then proceed in the order they arrived.
The traffic system at the intersection of Veterans Drive and Maduro Drive (West of the Windward Passage Hotel) will also be taken offline Tuesday.
Once repairs are completed, both traffic systems will be re-energized.
