Dryer Than Normal Forecast

Strong high pressure at the mid-levels of the atmosphere will result in drier than normal weather conditions across the local area for the next several days. Any showers that do develop will be both light and short-lived. Daytime highs will reach the upper 80s with east-southeast winds of 10-15 miles per hour forecast across the region.

A northeasterly swell is forecast to move across the regional waters today and continue through Tuesday increasing the risk of rip currents along the north coasts of St. Thomas and St. John.
