Dwight Antonio Todman Dies at 54

Dwight Antonio Todman, affectionately known as “Ras Roll Up,” died at the age of 54 on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at the Roy Lester Schnieder Regional Hospital.

Dwight is preceded in death by his grandparents: Mameta Consuelo Robinson, Elenora Industrious-Todman and Henry Alfred (Freddy) Todman; sister, Linda Raymond; and his brother, Eston Todman Sr.

He is survived by his parents: Eston Todman Sr. and Gladys Todman; brother, Mark “Cuchie” Todman; sisters: Bridget, Kimberly and Kima Todman; nephews/nieces: Taima (Joseph) Williams, Tashema Clarke, Atiba Raymond, Pai Garcia, Shemeka (David) Raymond-Benjamin, Alexandra Todman, Maria Todman, Eston “Stone” Todman III, Makisha Todman, Makayla Todman, Makima Todman, Makilah Todman, Alyssa Todman, Makeya Todman and Elijah Lettsome; and uncles/aunts: Juanito (Phyllis) Benjamin Sr., Marion Peters, Roy Blake, Esther “Rose” Benjamin, Raymond Todman, Evelyn Skelton, Evangelist Gloria Wheatley-Liburd and Marilyn Daisy Hodge.

He is also survived by great aunt, Ianthe Gumbs-Thomas; cousins: Laraine Niles, Keith, Ira, Hillis, Dwayne and Michael Benjamin, Antonio, Carlos, Erica and Diane Benjamin, Lawrence Gumbs, Milton Smith Sr, Derek, Clarinda, and Edwena Freeman, Arlington and Lawrence Todman, Sandra Burell, Sherwin Blyden, Elesta, Justin Sr., Kathleen and Amos Peters Jr., Cheryl Hazlett, Dwight Nicholas, Valberg Reovan, Allen Brathwaite, Kenneth Todman, Cheryl and Leroy Richardson, Donald Skelton, Harriet Jonas, Hazel Skelton-Hall, Derrick Skelton, Belvete Scatliffe-Hill, Burton and Belinda Scatliffe, Wilbert, Carol, Jacklyn, Dale and Dennis Todman, Claudia Lambert, Dr. Monique Wheatley-Phillip, Monet Wheatley-Phillip, Berchel Wheatley Jr., Mecah Wheatley-Idikwu, Julian, Joel, Jasmin, Janel, Gregory and Lola Todman, Jerome, Tyrone, Lerone, and Nyrone and Glenrone Hodge; as well as numerous beloved relatives, extended family, dear special friends and the Seventh-day Adventist Church family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the first viewing that will be held from 4-6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 3, at   Turnbull’s Funeral Home and Crematory Services of St. Thomas, USVI.

A second viewing will be held from 9-10 a.m., followed by Dwight’s Celebration of Life funeral service at 10 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 5, at the Shiloh Seventh-day Adventist Church. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Turnbull’s Funeral Home and Crematory Services of St. Thomas, USVI.
