Election System Offering Free Duplicate Voter ID Cards

Virgin Islands Supervisor of Elections Caroline Fawkes

According to a press release from Supervisor of Elections Caroline F. Fawkes, effective Wednesday, July 17 through Aug. 31, voters can obtain a free duplicate Voter Registration ID Card. The Board of Elections voted in its meeting held on Friday, July 12, to offer free voter’s ID Cards due to the many reports from the public. Supervisor Fawkes is also encouraging those that lost their voter’s ID card during the hurricanes to come in and have their cards replaced during this period.

In addition, Fawkes is requesting registrants that have not yet picked up their cards that were back logged for printing to do so by the end of July.

The Election System Offices are located at the following addresses:
St. Croix Elections Office – Sunny Isles Annex, Unit 4 (adjacent to Kmart Appliances Store)
St. Thomas Elections Office – Lockhart Gardens (upstairs Banco Popular)
St. John Elections Office – Market Place Suite II
