Elections Board Postpones Testing of Voting Machines to Friday, Nov. 16

The Board of Elections will be conducting testing of the Express Vote and DS200 voting machines that will be used for the 2018 Run-Off Election and Early Voting at 5:30 p.m., Friday. Nov. 16, at the respective Elections System of the Virgin Islands offices on St. Thomas and St. Croix. It had previously been scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 15.

Testing of the voting machines has been postponed due to inclement weather which has caused a delay in receiving the ballots. The ballots are scheduled to be on island Friday, Nov. 16. Members of the public and the media are invited to witness the process on Friday.

Early voting is set to begin on Saturday, Nov. 17 and Sunday, Nov. 18. Voting hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on St. John, voting hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. questions, contact St. Croix at 773-1021 or St. Thomas office at 774-3107.
