Supervisor of Elections Caroline Fawkes says that after a successful, transparent and memorable 2022 election cycle, the Elections System has now pivoted to finalizing the planning for its 60th anniversary Diamond Jubilee Celebration. The celebration will kick off with an event on Feb. 20, which is the date this agency was created.
Events are planned on all three islands during the week of Feb. 20-25. The culmination will be the 60th Anniversary Jubilee on Feb. 25, at Austin “Babe” Monsanto Marine Terminal, Crown Bay, St. Thomas.
Detailed information on each event will be provided once all the plans are finalized. The Elections System of the Virgin Islands is enthusiastic, eager and ready to sparkle as it celebrates this major milestone.
