Elections System Reschedules Campaign Disclosure Trainings From April to May

Supervisor of Elections Caroline F. Fawkes is reminding all aspirants seeking public office that the Elections System of the Virgin Islands will be conducting training on completing Campaign Disclosure Training. The training dates have been postponed until May.

St. Thomas Elections Office– Lockhart Gardens (Upstairs Banco Popular) at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 28.

St. Croix Elections Office-Sunny Isles Shopping at 5:30 p.m., Friday, May 30, Center, Unit 26, 1st floor at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, May 30.

Supervisor Fawkes apologizes for any inconvenience.

The Campaign Disclosure Training will include how to open a campaign bank account, the officers of the Campaign Committee, campaign donations limit, filing time for Campaign Disclosure, and other pertinent election information.

Supervisor Fawkes encourages interested aspirants to register via email esvi.info@vi.gov or by phone at 773-1021 (St. Croix) or 774-3107 (St. Thomas).

Pursuant to Title 18, Virgin Islands Code, Section 905, Supervisor Fawkes reminds candidates and political committees that “the June 30, 2024, Disclosure Report must be submitted to the Office of the Supervisor of Elections no later than Monday, July 16, 2024.”

The 2024 Election cycle is approaching, and the Elections System is committed to conducting fair, accessible, secure and transparent elections.
